Mrs. Roxana T. Murray, affectionately known as "Foxy Roxy", "Princess", "Big Mook" simply departed this life on November 10, 2024, at her, home in Crystal Springs, MS. Born on December 23, 1980, in Crystal Springs, she was the daughter of Ms. Emma J.T. Taylor and the late Mr. Jessie L. Hayes.
Roxana graduated from Crystal Springs High School in 2000. Shortly after, she began her career at the Mississippi State Hospital, where she worked from 2004 to 2010. In 2012, she joined Sitter Inx., serving with dedication until 2022. Her final resting place of employment was Methodist Rehabilitation Center, where she worked tirelessly until her passing.
Known for her vibrant personality and infectious laughter, Roxana brought joy to everyone she encountered, from friends to coworkers. Her compassionate spirit and dedication to others left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Roxana accepted Christ at an early age and joined Clear Creek Church, where her faith and commitment to service grew throughout her life. On June 21,2001, she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Kerrioso Murray Sr., with whom she shared a life filled with love and devotion.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie L. Hayes; her mother-in-law, Missionary Carolyn Murray Williams; her aunts, Kathy R. Palmer and Virgil L. Williams; and her uncles, Willie Ray Robinson, George Taylor, and Jessie L. Taylor.
Roxana leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Kerrioso Murry Sr.; her children, Kerian, Kirsten, and Kerrioso Jr; her stepdaughter, Shantinique Claiborne, all of Crystal Springs, MS; her devoted mother, Ms. Emma J.T. Taylor of Crystal Springs, MS; four loving sisters, Mrs. Annie (Charles) Terry of Crystal Springs, MS, Mrs., Kecia (Darnell) Powell of Jackson, MS, Ms. Janean(Trevor)Taylor, and Ms. Jessica (Quintarious) Taylor of Crystal Springs, MS; her brother Mr. Dary (Jasmine) Hood of Rowlett, TX; and her brothers-in law and sisters-in-law, Mrs. Cassandra (Harry) Mickle Jr., Mr. LaPerry(Diedre) Murray Sr., Ms. Antramekia Murray of Byram, MS. and Mr. Svanta Murray of Crystal Springs, MS. She is also survived by 52 nieces and nephews, 26 great- nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
Roxana's legacy of love, kindness, and faith will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her
