Rodney Alexander "Lil Bud" "Rolo" Smith was born July 10, 1971, to Bobbie Jean Smith Evil and the late Eddie Frank Evil. Rodney was a very hard worker at an early age, doing numerous jobs from field worker, mechanic, bulldozer, to carpenter. He worked at McRae's Distribution Center, Double Coat for 14 years, and Sheldon Labs and Hitachi Energy until his death. Rodney was married once at an early age. To this union, a son was born. Throughout his life journey he had six sons.
On August 1, 2024, Rodney made the transition from labor to reward. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edgar Lee Smith and Ethel Lee Smith, Eddie Willie Newell and Eddie Rush Evil; father, Eddie Frank Evil; niece, Rika Smith; and a nephew, Derrick Walker.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: a devoted mom, Bobbie Jean Smith Evil; six sons, Darius Jamal Smith, Shakir Vekarea Smith, Jarius Mathias Smith, Jorden Marcell Milton, Alexander Javon Smith, and Dawson Pat Rash; eight sisters, Sandra Evil-Williams (Garrick), Regina Smith, America Smith, Monica Smith, Rosa Ann (Danny) Purifoy, Tina (Tracy) Evil, Patsy (Kat) Evil, and Nancy Walker; six brothers, Eddie Frank Smith, Bennie Frank Stewart, Willie Frank Evil, Ray Evil, Eddie (Andrea) White, and Derrika Evil; a special and close nephew, DeMario Smith; two close friends, Malcolm Sojourner and Carlos Cooper; a host of nephews and nieces, other relatives, friends, and a lot of pool shooting friends.
