Professionally, Laquanda found fulfillment working for Damian Stevenson Attorney At Law. She dedicated herself to her work, finding joy in the opportunity to assist others. Her commitment to justice and empathy made her an invaluable asset to the office.
Laquanda's passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her devoted father Roy Smith (Paticia) of Jackson; her two loving sons, Dewayne Hill and David Smith; her cherished daughter Trinity Smith of Jackson; and her four brothers: Dewayne Smith, Fredrick Smith (Jeannie), Ricardo Smith (Barbara), all of Jackson.
In addition to her immediate family, Laquanda leaves behind a host of cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were touched by her vibrant spirit. One such dear friend was Evelyn Hoggatt, who stood by Laquanda's side through thick and thin.
To honor Laquanda's life and memory, two services have been planned. The first service will be a visitation held on January 12th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Services located at 421 West Cunningham Ave., Terry, MS, 39170.
