KaShena Adams

Kashena was born May 29,1983 to the late Willie Ray and Maxine Adams at University Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Kashena was surrounded and supported by her loving family during  the last days of her life. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Arlington  Memorial Hospital in Arlington, TX. 

At an early age, Kashena joined New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Dentville, MS. Kashena graduated from Crystal Springs High School in the Class of 2001. She later attended Hinds Community College where she received an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2013. 

Kashena is preceded in death by her father, Willie Ray Adams, Sr. ; brother, Joe Nathan Wilson, and her grandmother, Rose Ella Wilson.

Kashena leaves behind to cherish her memories: her loving mother, Maxine Adams of Crystal Springs, MS; daughter, Lataria Wilson of Crystal Springs, MS; significant other, Danny Wilson of Crystal Springs, MS; three sisters, Patricia Fortenberry of Fort Worth, TX, Lakendra  (Mr. Kendra) Ball of Arlington, TX and Marilyn Adams of Terry, MS; four brothers, Willie Ray (Fannette) Adams, Jr. Otha Ray (Dorothy) Adams of Terry, MS, Esther (Angela) Adams of Crystal Springs, MS and Michael Adams of Terry, MS; three nieces, Kawanza Fortenberry, Yasmin Wilson and Journi Ball; three nephews, Jerrick Wilson, Jordan Adams and Jaydan Adams; Godmother, Yolanda Washington of Gallman, MS and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
