James White

James E. White was born on November 4, 1948  to the late Thomas and Myrtis White in Terry, Mississippi. 

He confessed his belief in Christ at an early age. He attended Trinity Mission Baptist Church  in Terry, Mississippi. James was married to the late Catherine Johnson of Jackson, Mississippi. He departed his earthly journey on November 2, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. “Hound” was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. 

James leaves to cherish his memories: five sisters, Josephine Buckner, Gussie Harris, Ruby (David) Thompson, Myrtis (William) Anderson of Jackson, Mississippi, Shirley (Claude) Houseton of Florence, Mississippi; five brothers, J.C. Maxwell of Jackson, Mississippi, Thomas White, Jr. of Terry, Mississippi, Elwood (Linda) White of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, Darry (Dorothy) White of Raymond, Mississippi and Jimmy  C. White of Utica, Mississippi and a host of step children, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
