Helen Allen Cooper was born on June 29th, 1942 to the late Mr. Lee Will Allen and Mrs. Mary Lee Allen in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. After a lengthy illness, Helen departed her earthly home and journeyed to her final resting place with the Lord on Friday, July 19, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Allen; her father, Lee Will Allen; two sisters, Ruthie Mae Allen and Thelma Warnsley; three brothers, James Marvin Allen, Mark Earl Allen and Mosley Allen.
Helen was a devoted worker, she took care of kids in her home. She enjoyed cooking, watching television, talking on the phone, an sitting on her front porch. She also loved feeding her family and friends.
Helen leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Marilyn C. Roper (Mike) and Helen Elane Shoemate (Mike); two sons, Charles Earl Cooper, Jr. and Billy Ray Cooper; eight grandchildren, Tasha Glasper, Malcolm Lewis, Cardell Spann, Phillip White, Micheal Shoemate, Jr., Brandon Shoemate, Demonta Cooper, and Kayla Cooper; eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Erma Jean Brown; one brother, Sonny Allen (Ruthie) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
