Elexius Ta’Keziouna Joiner

Elexius Joiner was born November 15, 2001, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Clarissa Belton and Demetri Smith. She was her mother’s first born and only daughter.

Elexius was very caring and compassionate to ALL, with a smile that would light up the entire room. Elexius graduated from Hazlehurst High School in 2020. Elexius enjoyed her life but most of all she loved her babies until the very end.

 Elexius was proceeded in death by her brother My’Riek Price, grandfather Johnny Jones, great-grandmother Athalee Mickle, and great-uncle Ondre Belton.

  Elexius leaves to cherish her children Johnny Joiner and Amani Joiner; her mother Clarissa Belton(Fredrick Sorrell) and fathers Demetri Smith, Ernest Joiner, and Cedric Beacham, Sr.; siblings Deveonta Joiner, Cedric Beacham, Jr, Jervon Belton, Anaja Price, Khalia Davis, D’Mesha Ellis, Anija Shannon, Sonniah Robinson, Alexis Holloway, two nieces Jylani Joiner and Kay’Loni Taylor; grandmothers Tammy (Johnny) Jones, Bonita (John) Dodds, Louise (Edgar) Pendleton; grandfather Alex (Debbie Sue) Stovall; great-grandfather Harry Mickle; aunts and uncles Tekela Belton, Kim Stovall, Fred Stovall, Alex Stovall, Jr (Denise), Ashley May, Melissa Joiner, Diane (Rhondy) Mickle, Mildred Sandifer, Shirley (Ricky) Adams, Deweese Sexton, Darren Holloway, LaQuita Dodds, D’Vante Dodds, Bridget Evans, and Shecia Dodds; her favorite cousins Raven Mickle, Daniel Mickle, and Tasiana Henley; special friends Destiny Webb and Latasia Fair; god-mothers Angelia Daniels and Victoria Joiner; a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and extended family.
