Today we gather here as family and friends to celebrate the life of Eddie “Fella” Jenkins. He was born on July 20, 1964 to the late Mr. James Williams and the late Eula Mae Jenkins.
He attended Crystal Springs School. Fella lived a happy life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, listening to blues, and watching football, especially the New England Patriots (Tom Brady). He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends when needed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eula Mae Jenkins; father, James Williams, and two brothers, Dennis Jenkins and Willie Lee Williams.
On Sunday, January 14, 2024, Fella peacefully passed away at his home in Byram, Mississippi.
Fella’s memories will be forever cherished by his significant other of over 35 years, Diane Pendleton; mother-in-law, Mattie Jones; two sons, Deven (Shavokia) Joiner and Victor Howze; two daughters, jalisa Pendleton and Sabrina Pendleton; two God-daughters, Georgia Gowdy and Justice Taylor; three grandchildren, Malik Austin, Korbin Gowdy and Kehlani Gowdy; three sisters, Lula Mae Williams, Shellie Ruth Jenkins and Alice Faye Jenkins; one brother, James “June” Williams, Jr.; three sister-in-laws, Berenda Pendleton, Belinda Pendleton and Veronica Hill; two brothers-in-law, Nathan Thompson “Bug” and Anthony Hill “Ant” and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
