In Loving Memory of Clyde McDonald Jr.
On March 10, 2024, Clyde McDonald Jr. bid farewell to this world in Caddo Mills, TX, leaving behind a multitude of cherished memories and a legacy that will forever be remembered. He graced the world with his presence on October 16, 1965, in Rochester, NY, setting forth on a journey filled with love, laughter, and a profound impact on all who had the privilege to know him.
Clyde was born to Geneva (Plowden) McDonald and the late Clyde McDonald Sr., embodying a spirit of humor and joy that illuminated the lives of those around him from a young age. His charismatic personality and impeccable sense of style were often noted by his acquaintances. A maestro of music, Clyde's passion for melodies led him to pursue a career as a DJ at local gatherings, where he sprinkled magic through his playlists.
However, above all his accomplishments, Clyde held true to his aspiration of being an exceptional father to his children while making his mark as a dedicated truck driver. His commitment to family was unwavering and defined by the unconditional love he showered upon them every day.
Whether through his infectious laughter or kind-hearted gestures, Clyde touched the hearts of many throughout his journey. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Clyde McDonald Jr. is survived by his loving mother Geneva McDonald; his three daughters Stephanie Chambers (Ken), Shenequa McDonald, and De'Mecia Wilson; grandchildren Layla Chambers and Niya Chambers; brothers Michael McDonald and Vincent McDonald; sisters Vonda Adams, Ebony McDonald, Shania Bradley; along with a multitude of beloved family members and friends whose lives were enriched by his presence.
As we gather to honor and celebrate Clyde's life at Heritage Funeral Services, LLC in Terry, MS, let us carry forward the memories he gifted us and continue to spread the joy he brought into our lives.
