Anderson White

...the time of my departure is at hand, I have fought the good fight, I 

have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me a

crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge will give to me

on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have  loved His appearing.

    This day in the name of our Lore an Savior, we come together to celebrate the final and last rite of Mr. Anderson White, a son, brother, father and grandfather of our beloved family. 

    Mr. Anderson White was born February 12, 1954 to the late Mrs. Gertrude White and Mr. Nolan Bell in Hinds County Terry, Mississippi. Both parents preceded him in death. Anderson was one of six children born to Gertrude White. 

    At an early age, Anderson joined the Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church of which he never changed his membership. Anderson attended the Perryman Elementary and Junior High School after which he attended the Terry High School. 

    Anderson left this life and stepped into the presence of God on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 1:30 A.M. at the Manhattan Nursing Home in Jackson, Mississippi. 

    Anderson leaves to celebrate his home going seven children: Shameka Hayes (2 daughters), Latisha Wilson (3 sons), Kimberly Skaggs (2 daughters), Anderson (Stephanie) Stewart (1 son), Dwaunyette Coleman (2 sons), Anderson White Besst (1 daughter) and Elisha Blackmon (1 daughter); four sisters, Sallie Ann White (1 daughter), Gertha L. Little (2 daughters, 1 son), Delores (Leroy) Tinney (1 daughter), Vera White (L.S.) Bishop (2 daughters), Linda Sue Brown (1 daughter,2 sons), Joyce Catchings and Bobbie Lewis; three brothers, James Roy (Shirley) Catchings (2 sons), C.L. White (2 sons) and Keith Ball. Anderson leaves in his passing a host of relatives and friends to remember his life on earth and many more he has embraced in his new home.
